Soho House has revealed that the site will open in 2022, but a launch date has yet to be confirmed, although previous reports have indicated that it would open in the summer or fall of next year.
The members club currently has sites in London and the South, Europe, North America and Asia, but this would be a first in the North of England.
For fans of the luxury chain in Manchester there is already the option of having a Cities Without Houses membership, designed for people who live in an area that does not yet have a Soho House, but still want to access them.
This membership allows people to access a variety of benefits and events, including music nights, fitness classes, workshops, talks, and a book club.
These events are already held monthly in Manchester in the run-up to the club opening.
Details on the facilities that will be available at Soho House Manchester have yet to be confirmed, but plans presented to Manchester City Council include a rooftop bar and swimming pool.
Other locations have rest areas, bars and dining rooms, as well as areas to work and host events.
Members can expect artfully designed interiors, with luxurious furnishings and eclectic artwork on display.
Membership for clubs in London costs from £ 680 to £ 1,800, but membership prices for Soho House Manchester have yet to be revealed.
