Super mansions don’t hit the open market very often, which is why a 10-bed mansion in one of London’s most exclusive neighborhoods has caused a stir among the super-rich.
The St John’s Wood property is up for sale for the first time in 63 years at a price of £ 38 million.
The mansion, on exclusive Avenue Road, has been home to other famous residents over the years, including boxer Anthony Joshua, who rented one of the most sought-after homes.

Singer-turned-fashion designer Rihanna also rented a house there for £ 16,000 a week before it went up for sale for £ 32 million, as did Robbie Williams, whose rental property was later listed for £ 22.5 millions.
The curved red brick mansion sits on half an acre and has a ground floor building permit with a pool, spa, game room, and movie theater.
There is also the possibility of a rear extension at ground level where a new kitchen could be added. And a proposed terrace on the first floor would allow for the third and fourth bedrooms.
The proposed plans and extensions, if carried out, would make the property more than 25 times the size of the average London home, making it just over 18,000 square feet.
Savills’ Stephen Lindsay said: “Opportunities to undertake a project of this scale are increasingly rare in London, we expect to see great interest from local and international buyers looking to take the house into its next phase.”
Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field are believed to have escaped to a neighboring mansion in the area for £ 20,000 a month after their plans for an underground basement for their Holland Park home were rejected.
The double-fronted Victorian mansion was said to feature one of London’s most luxurious private “basement spas” with a swimming pool with an adjoining cocktail bar and movie screen, as well as a gym, steam room and a treatment room.
